Check in took some time even though there wasn’t a line. Only one person at the desk for such a large hotel.

Quay is under construction so view was not great. The staff were very nice and helpful and the history of the hotel is really great.

What a lovely property!! I booked through Expedia but they called day prior to verify check in. I mentioned my birthday and when I arrived I had a lovely surprise! A birthday treat was left in our room. Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable we ate one dinner at the attached restaurant and it was amazing. The bar was lovely with fireplaces to warm our bones! Highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent historical property with exceptional service. The attitude from the front desk to the restaurant staff was as good as you can hope for on any trip.

Everything is up to standard at this hotel. Courteous staff very helpful, good quality food, excellent lunch carvery. The room was big and spacious with a good size ensuite. Access is a bit complicated if you are driving and don’t know the layout of the city centre, the Sat nav can lead you around in circles. The car park is across a very busy road opposite the hotel. Would we stay again? Yes definitely.

Cannot recommend. Check in at 4! No earlier even though we were waiting in the lobby two hours early and watched others check in. The room we finally got was not the best (very small). Did not feel like a valued customer.

Old world charm and warm welcome
The Granville is one of my favourite hotels in Ireland. It never fails to impress. Staff are outstanding, rooms are spotless and unique, The bar and restaurant are exceptional. Fabulous location and easy parking.

We had a fantastic stay for 2 nights, enjoyed the breakfast and also had lovely lunch. Fiona in reception was lovely when we were checking out. But all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and homely. Nice touches that you dont always get in a hotel in the city. We will definitely be back.

Front staff was very professional. Room was very comfortable and close to sightseeing spots/pubs. The pub below served the best Guinness I had in Ireland. Thank you.

Would definitely stay there again
A very nice hotel... the staff are super and the food is great. The bed was pretty comfy. The room was nice, not overly fancy but did what it needed to do.

Wonderful but skip breakfast
The hotel was wonderful, comfortable, and clean. The front desk staff were also fabulous. However, the breakfast hostess was condescending and unwelcoming, which is the antithesis of every other experience we had in Ireland.

Very enjoyable stay
Receptionist extremely helpful. She managed to find a quiet room at last minute - very grateful to her, the room was perfect 👌 Breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from and everything super fresh.

A glamorous old place. We stayed just a night en route to Kenmare from Rosslare, and it was elegant and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was really, really good.

Lovely hotel
The hotel was well located and in good condition. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. The only challenges were that the location requires you to drop off luggage and remark the car down the street. Not too far at all but there were tour buses parked in front and nowhere to stop and unload. Also, construction across the street was quite loud during the day with a front facing room. Both challenges are difficult for the hotel to control, but perhaps valet support could help with luggage drop off in situations like this. Overall a lovely hotel. (10/23)
