"I stayed for two nights over July 4 and thought the hotel was a really good find. On the Delaware River, next to a park, apartment style rooms, on site parking. i would stay here again.
It is listed as part of a casino but that isnt on site and a shuttle can take you there on request. Apparently the property didn't allow kids but it does now. That hasnt caught on yet and my stay was quiet and peaceful.
I thought I had purchased a park view room but was placed in a room with no way to see out...
"I do not have anything bad to say - It did not feel like I was in the hussle and bussle of the city. It had a gorgeous view; just a short walk to food, drinks, and entertainment and the staff could not have been more cordial. I had an awesome stay. Thank you!"
"The front desk attendants, housekeeping staff, wait staff for breakfast were all polite, helpful, kind and friendly. Any question we had was answered quickly. We loved staying at the Independence Park Hotel and would gladly stay there again!"

"Hotel condition was very modern, clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly, professional and always welcoming! We communicated a very minor repair just for awareness, and while we were out enjoying the city it was repaired… on a Sunday! Oh almost forgot a very important point, location, location, location everything is within a 20-30 minute walk. Great restaurants, historical sites and safe neighborhoods.
When we return to Philly we will definitely stay at Canopy again!"

"Great location if you're attending a conference at the Pennsylvania convention center, only a few minutes walk to the entrances. The hotel is well maintained and clean, housekeeping attended to my room daily. Staff are helpful and friendly, the Internet works great and free breakfast. "

"It is a good property in the center of the Gayborhood with great options for dining, breakfast / coffee and business. I did not like the homeless people especially when some of them were demanding stuff. There is a lot of police around though. Otherwise good experience with hard wood floor and great bedding and mattress. There is not a lot of space in the room but there is common area for sitting and possibly meetings "

"The style of the hotel and rooms was fun. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast could use some variation (my daughter and I stayed for 8 nights and the breakfast was the same every morning). Overall, had a great stay and will definitely stay here again. "
