"We were charged $6.34 I(I believe that was the charge) for Water in the room? That is the only thing we can think of anyway. The receipt did not explain what the charge was for, and we rec'd a full refund of the "incidental" charge that was put on the card when we checked in. If the charge was indeed for water, you should be upfront and put a price tag on the bottle or a note stating you will be charged. Most people wouldn't care, but surprise charges, no matter how small are upsetting."
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Roanoke Rapids I-95
4/10 Poor
"Hotel is outdated and a lot of thing in our room were broken. There were poorly patched up holes in our bathroom and 2 of the drawers wouldn’t close properly and kept opening up by themselves."
"I never ended up not staying there. The ground were full of unsavory people. Your desk clerk was of no use at all.
There were people hanging out and drinking.
My wife and I did not fell safe. Tried to get a refund but no one ever answers the phone. Will not be doing business with you again. Very disappointed.
Also Hotel.Com was of no use to me either!!!"
"We stay in this hotel every year on the way home from Florida. This is the first (and last) time we used Expedia. I had made this reservation 2 months in advance. I requested a room on the first floor. My answer was “There are no first floor rooms with the room you purchased.”(Expedia rooms).I then asked for a room near the elevator. (Mobility issues). No answer. They wound up giving us the LAST ROOM (224) on the 2nd floor, which is the DOG FLOOR!!! When I called to change the room, I was told that the hotel was full and there were no other rooms available. There was either a dog hair or pubic hair in my bed, so I slept in my husband’s bed with him.
We went to breakfast at 7:05am on Sunday. They already ran out of bananas , and the only fruit they had was apples. Usually there is fresh strawberries and blueberries. There was no waffle machine either.
So disappointed, but I wanted you to know that Expedia rooms were not good. It was obvious that they gave us the room that no one else wanted.
