"£50 fine for parking outside the hotel. Whilst we can't blame the hotel because there is a warning in their greeting message... our check-in was limited to speaking to somebody on a Ring Doorbell. Nobody on reception, so no-one to talk to. I would have asked "okay to park here?" if there had actually been somebody present - the parking sign is half way down the street and meter in not obvious. All felt a bit impersonal. Bathroom a bit dated with an unspeakably large bath...a good shower would...

"OMG! We arrived and I immediately realized my phone fell out of my pocket in the taxi. Claire was outstanding as I was losing my composure and she was very calming. She knew what to do to help me get my phone back and brought my phone to me with some prosecco! "

"The actual room was fairly clean with a decent shower and toilet and good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Quite a bit of traffic noise from the main road. The building and surroundings are very run down, I wasn't even sure the pub was open to go in and collect the key as the windows had bars on them and the hanging sign was empty. Needs a bit of a paint job. Parking was dodgy, surrounded by bins, rubbish and just not very clear where to park."

"Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St.Leonards Guest House. Lovely room, quirky and very well presented, exceptionally clean and a comfortable bed. Great having the fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Beautiful selection for breakfast. The host Keith was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond during our stay. We would stay here again without hesitation."
