"The absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed in fact I didn’t even stay. I just got there. I tried to take a shower and in the middle of the shower the water started spitting out brown water. I left and had to rent a different room at a different hotel. They wouldn’t even refund my money."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. "This was the 2nd time we stayed here. We came I believe April & this time again in same exact room. The April stay, the room was very clean. Only complaint at the time was no bathroom fan. This time around, still,no fan in bathroom. It’s a handicap accessible room, which was very well equipped on our first stay. Now, it appears to have several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Bathroom smelled badly. Quite disappointing this time around."

"After a nightmarish travel day in which our flight was cancelled and we had to have an overnight layover, the hotel was gracious enough to save our room, and were extremely helpful in making us comfortable. This was especially helpful because we both ended up sick while there, and needed to have a nice place to recover. The room was quiet, the staff was terrific, the amenities were awesome and the location couldn't be better. It's right across the street from the bus and rail station."
