"Parking was atrocious. No reasonable coffee machine in room just some ridiculous espresso gadget. No microwave. Hotels usually scan my credit card for any extras in the room but here they actually charged my card $300 that I should get back in five to ten business days?? Hard Rock hotel Ottawa is out in the country, they little or no facilities for a normal morning breakfast or lunch. If you want a decent tea or coffee and donut it’s 15 kilometres away."

"The view from my balcony was absolutely incredible! I would stay here again just because of that. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very clean. The shower glass was dirty, the shower drain was completely clogged and nearly overflowed the shower pan while I had a short shower, and the sheets, although clean..were very wrinkled. Also the cutlery that was thoughtfully provided, was also dirty (had remnants of someone else’s food on it). But because of the stellar view, I did enjoy my stay."

"This is a new hotel so I would expect it to be in excellent condition, which it was. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Had a room on the ground floor near the front desk, which was very convenient, but sometimes a little noisy, but it never interrupted our sleep. Beds were excellent. The one negative would be the Wi-Fi - although it’s free it requires registration to give all of your data, including your grandchildren’s eating habits (kidding, but almost)."
