"The bathtub was filthy. It was a very slow drain, so it may have been cleaned, but then left the yuckiness right by the drain. There was a hair in the bed. I had to ask for more juice and food for the breakfast. It was only 830. The staff was very slow to refill everything. Weird beer/pee odor in elevator. "The hotel is historic and has an old world feel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. However, its customer service has not kept up with current expectations. Daily Housekeeping is only provided of your stay is 2-3+ days. Despite a request to refresh our room, it was ignored. Yes they provide coffee in the room, but only for one day! Location is great, but they rely on their reputation and have no desire to provide the level of service expected from such a unique location."

"When we checked in the security in the hotel kept us in the car for approxametily half an hour to see if there is a reservation and they kept saying that there is no reservation after arguing with them and we had to make expedia call them to check us in, the ad on expedia said parking was free but they made us pay. After more than 40 mins I check in, I drove 4 hours from Houston to be met with such staff, awful, not recommended."
