"The staff who checked us in was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is a good hotel for the price. The worst part were the beds, they were hard as rocks. I don’t mind a firm bed, but these could really use a memory foam mattress topper, that would easily bring up the rating to 4 stars."

"They no longer have a pool. This place is genuinely.quiet and a great night sleep ! However there was an issue with one guest 2 doors down from mine . He was banging on doors and windows. I had to call the office 3 times before they did anything. Manager never on site we have asked numerous times times to speak with a Manager but always told she isnt here"

"Great location. We walked everywhere. Food, bars, transportation, pharmacy was not too far, groceries next door, walked to the Hop On Hop Off Trolley. It was not that far from the hotel. Staff was great. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. Definitely our choice of hotel for whenever we come back to Portland. Thank you."

"Rooms were clean, thoughtfully stocked with kitchen supplies. It was a nice touch by the hotel to provide bottled waters. It’s located in a convenient location with lots of food options. It’s mostly quiet but there is a train track next to it so expect some noise"

"I booked two rooms together, but got the rooms NOT next to each other. This made me feel a little uncomfortable, as one of the room is for our pre-teen and her friend. I would prefer the room right next to each other. They offer to chafe, but still have us apart. Parking is not free ($13 a night, didn’t show that in n Expedia). Free breakfast was below average. For me, I wasn’t able to eat much of anything. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked pretty late, and needed to grab a bite before turning in for the night. The staff gave us great suggestions and made sure the places were still open before we headed out. The rooms were clean and simple, had all we needed. However, the AC wasn't working. So no matter how low we turned it down, the room was just way too warm. I hardly slept the entire night because of how hot it was. My friend in another room said the same thing about their...
