"Das Hotel hat die perfekte Lage, um die Halbinsel Snaefellsnes zu erkunden und ist nur 15 min mit dem Auto vom Strand mit den Robben entfernt. Es ist motelartig aufgebaut, d.h. man kann nachts unkompliziert das Zimmer verlassen und nach Polarlichtern suchen und direkt vor der Tür kostenlos parken. Leider hat es keinen Aurora Wake Up Call, wie andere Hotels, d.h. man muss sich selbst informieren und Wecker zur Sichtung der Polarlichter stellen. In der Gegend gibt es sonst kaum...

"This is a great place to stay if you are looking to be away from city lights so you can try to see the Northern Lights. We were fortunate they were visible on our night here and it was a highlight of our trip. The staff is friendly, but they are not available at all times. Our shower was stopped up, but there is no staff late at night so we had to wait until morning for it to be fixed. They took care of it right away then, so it's just a matter of expectations. Overall, I would stay here...

"The staff member at the front desk was very kind on the day we checked in, as well as the day we checked out. There’s no breakfast served during the winter but there is coffee/tea and some biscuits and spreads laid out for travellers which was very nice! We were also able to see the northern lights from the hot tub out back! An amazing bonus! "

"You can't beat the location - perfectly situated allowing direct access to walk the cliff tops and view the beauty of the Icelandic coast below and a good point to split the trip if seeing the West end. The room was nice enough and the huge window facing the sea was nice but it would be have been better if the adjoining restaurant shut off their rear exterior lights so you could appreciate the view at night. The restaurant experience wasn't great - found the staff cold and the food bland but...

"Man konnte das Meer von Fenster aus sehen. Fernseher mit einem Google Dongle ausgestattet - sehr praktisch. Wasserkocher und Minikühlschrank, sowie Safe im Schrank. Zimmer sehr ruhig. Supermarkt und Tankstelle direkt gegenüber. Alles sehr sauber. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Wir würden dir wieder übernachten"
