"This property is amazing, hands down our favorite hotel of the trip. The restaurant was not only delicious but so kindly accommodating of allergies - be sure to give them at least a day's notice though. All the public spaces are so cozy and welcoming. Our third floor room did get a bit stuffy in unseasonably warm weather, with one window that didn't open much, but they allowed us to move to a room with much more airflow. "An absolutely amazing local hotel, restaurant, and campground. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, courteous, and helpful, and we loved every aspect of our time (two nights - wish it could have been longer). The food at the Rock-n-Troll pub was excellent and the views of the surrounding natural beauty were peaceful and magnificent. 6 stars out of 5 (and no, I'm not being paid for this review)"

"Rooms are not fancy but adequate. Food in the restaurant is very good. You have to try the Puffin appetizer. It’s really delicious. Setting of the hotel is very nice with a river and horses behind the hotel. We enjoyed playing with the “pet” fox that lives on the property. It’s fun watching the fox pester the dog that also lives on the property. "
