"I cannot give enough stars for Hotel A. From the first welcome from the owner , to our amazing cozy comfortable room, to the home cooked meal with excellent service and our departure breakfast. Every single moment was enjoyable and honestly this stay was our favorite of the entire trip. If ever back in Iceland would stay here for several Days."

The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the rain shower amazing, the food (both dinner and breaks fast) was excellent, and maybe best of all, the black out shade was so top notch that we woke up and didn’t know what day it was. "We booked two double rooms for one night. This was one of our favorite stops. There is a hiking trail that is easily accessible right from the hotel that leads to a beautiful waterfall and the natural hot pool is a very short drive away. We ate dinner and breakfast at the Hotel and both were delicious. There is a cozy sitting area that we hung out in for the evening. Great stay!"

Per il resto niente di positivo: la struttura risale agli anni Settanta/ottanta e non è mai stata rinnovata. Attenzione all’alloggio assegnato: le recensioni positive si riferiscono sicuramente alle casette di recente costruzione che appartengono allo stesso complesso ma se vi capita un appartamento nella vecchia struttura aspettatevi ambienti e arredi obsoleti. "Super clean, bright and spacious. Excellent location next to the ocean/harbor, with ev charger plus a gas station with most affordable fast food on the penninsula. I would highly recommend especially for families. Only note would be if you are looking for more of a backpacker vibe, there is a better option nearby. This one is great on all other counts - just not as much social communal vibe."

"This place was fantastic. This was the best breakfast that was included of any of the hotels in our 10 days in Iceland. The staff was so accommodating and flexible. I made a mistake and booked the room as a solo room despite traveling with my wife and they easily and happily resolved the issue. There is some really interesting and fun artwork hanging around the main area. The room was perfect. We had an excellent stay!"
