"It was a clean room however the bathroom had issues with the toilet needs to be changed old too slow to fillup had plastic bottle in tank to help with filling tank !!!! Makes lots of noise No one around exceptin the morning for breakfast door entry very hard to unlok and lock Service of the room on demand staff in the morning very nice and helpfull"

"We enjoyed our stay at Caladh in Stornoway. The location was perfect, as we arrived late off the ferry into Stornoway. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"As this was a last-minute work-related visit, there was very limited accommodation available throughout the island. £700 for 4 nights in a guest house I think is a bit excessive. But I suppose it was “supply on demand”. That aside Jim was very helpful regarding access to the property, and a hearty breakfast was set down within a couple of minutes of arriving in the dining room. A nice and friendly atmosphere with the other guests chatting about our experiences the previous days and what that day would bring. Shower was amazing, bed was a bit creaky but very comfortable and the room was nice and warm. Fantastic view over the bay, due to number of guests it was easier to just park on the road outside the property, there is parking for 4 cars in a first come basis, with only one other property using the road outside parking is extremely easy. Free WiFi, tea, coffee, biscuits made the stay a very enjoyable experience. I would easily stay here again, but would book in advance to avoid premium tariffs."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was clean. Excellent restaurant in hotel, also includes breakfast. Be mindful, though, if you are mobility challenged as there is no elevator- ask for ground floor. Parking can be a challenge, but can be worked out. Staff was courteous and helpful. We would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The setting is spectacular, the views are incredible, and the grounds are lovely. We really enjoyed taking the time to explore the property. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. We especially appreciated the unlimited water, hot chocolate, tea, and Nespresso pods. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was wonderful, and having electrical outlets on every wall was surprisingly convenient. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast could not have been better. The staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but we would particularly like to mention Cat and Frazier at the front desk. They were exceptionally welcoming, accommodating, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The magnificent setting, comfortable accommodations, excellent food, and outstanding staff made this a truly memorable stay. We would gladly recommend this hotel."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hame on Skye. The property has a lovely casual atmosphere that mirrors the views. Our room was well appointed, breakfasts were fantastic! We had the haggis, Florentine and bean selections, all were equally delicious. The gathering room was cozy and comfortable offering intimate seating and group seating and the view from the restaurant was unmatched! Staff & owners were incredibly friendly and professional."
Greshornish House Hotel

"Super cool location that is completely remote. Watch out for pot holes on the drive in. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was incredible. Our room was in the anttic and very small. As tall people we couldn’t stand comfortably in the entry way or shower. Would book again in another room."
