"Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle...

"Lovely bedroom, nice views out window.excellent dinner, very well looked after by Mike the bartender, waiter. Good breakfast.Very well looked after. We only did one night but wished we'd had 2 or3,lovely area."

"We had a relaxing stay at Burnside and would recommend here for a place to stay in Keswick. Great access to the lakes, and Sharon is a fantastic person, and had plenty of local information to share - we could have spoken to her all day. Hopefully we will stay here again in the future!"

"The house is in a beautiful location and we were greeted by Alfie. We were made welcome from the very beginning and looked after well. Our twin room was perfect with amazing views. We were recommended a walk to the lake and took a picnic, beautiful scenery and incredibly relaxing. A must do! We were provided with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh bread. We will absolutely be visiting again and we wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night. "

"Maple Bank is a gem of a place. Super location literally 100 yards from a bus stop, which has an hourly bus right through to midnight, with a £2 fare cap! We chose to walk in to Keswick one morning which took about 50 minutes. Check-in was great and informative, outlining options for breakfast for vegetarian & vegan choices. "Had a very delightful stay at Greystoke House and would most certainly recommend! Very clean and spacious room, well decorated and great amenities. Quick walk into town with lots of options for food, drink, and entertainment. Short 30 mins drive to Buttermere for fantastic hiking. Thanks for a perfect stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was small but very comfortable with views of the hills. The tea and coffee choices are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic. We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again. "
