"Worst place we’ve ever stayed in New Zealand. It’s a cheap accommodation overall. In room 303, the heater didn’t work, the oven was broken, and the view was literally nothing. They provided cheap instant coffee, cheap utensils, a cheap mattress, and cheap pillows. The place is also isolated, with nothing around. I would not recommend it. "Pleasant stay at Sunset motel. Our rooms had a stunning view of the snow capped mountains in the distance. Fox Glacier is a small town, so the motel is well placed to take in the activities. One suggestion for the motel owners; during the Autumn/ winter season warmer doonas and blankets are definitely needed as the rooms get extremely cold of an evening, even with the heater on."
