"Very friendly staff. Nice pub and restaurant downstairs. Our room was on the street side and above pub outdoor seating, so it was a little noisy. One of our windows didn’t shut completely, which didn’t help. But it quieted down a lot at night. Very clean and comfortable."

"Room was cleaned daily ...coffee tea was replaced daily but weather was so good out early so didn't have meals there . So couldn't pass comment on this"

"Staff were really friendly on arrival, had already filled up and heated the hot tub. Room was clean and was lovely to stay in, couldn’t ask for more. Will defiantly use again"

"Really loved our short stay at this place. Very clean, very well laid out and above and beyond with the snacks/drinks left out. Very convenient for Bristol Airport. Unfortunately a late evening arrival, dry early next morning flight meant that our stay was short and we didn’t see the place in the daylight! Would happily return."

"Very quite neighbourhood that is not too far from the hotspots in town"

"Lovely place everything needed it's there 😄"

"Convenient with great cathedral view (room 2) . Very steep staircase so unsuitable for anyone disabled. Right in the centre of the city but little traffic noise."

"A fabulous, unique property….. highly recommend"

"Came here as a solo traveller and LOVED it. The single room was a little small, but perfect for only staying a couple days. The bathroom + shower were also very small, but considering I’m only 158cm/5’3, it worked out well. However, a taller person may find it a bit uncomfortable. The location was perfect. It was only 10 min by foot from the train station and about 15 min from Cardiff Castle. I also had an issue the first night with the heater in the room so I complained to the staff. Not...

"Bedroom really needs updating and TLC. Carpet was marked and mattress saggy and uncomfortable. Bath panel needs repainting. Very weird door in bedroom that when opened had a duvet hanging between our door and the one immediately behind. Beautiful old building but difficult to shut windows and paint peeling. On a positive, the food in the restaurant was good and staff were all friendly. Lovely little village with some nice one off shops/cafes. I think the price is high for a basic pub...

"Lovely little place to stay with an Italian restaurant downstairs! Food was great too!"

"It’s is a lovely place to stay and the price and quality of the food is amazing."

"Great for the price."

"I love the courtyard entrance and space before you enter the hotel. We had a room with a window overlooking the courtyard and it was quiet enough to sleep even though it was Haloween. Only issue was shower was very slow draining, otherwise good."

"Lisa was very thorough and explained everything. She also suggested me the good restaurant and places to visit. Enjoyed my stay"
