I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Beach Resort in Curacao, and it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality, setting the tone for a truly memorable experience. The first thing that struck me about the Marriott Beach Resort was its immaculate cleanliness. Everywhere I looked, from the lobby to the guest rooms, the attention to detail was evident. It's clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining a pristine environment for guests to enjoy. The resort's beachfront location is nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and stepping out onto the soft, white sands was a dream come true. Whether lounging under a palm tree with a good book or taking a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters, every moment spent on the beach was pure bliss. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant servers, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met with a smile. Whether offering recommendations for local attractions or arranging transportation, their genuine warmth and professionalism made me feel right at home. Great property with a private beach! Excellent food at the restaurants and staff were wonderful! Shout out to Maria at the salty iguana cafe! Our rate did not include breakfast and we found it pricey to pay for separately. Overall, a great stay

Pros: friendly, helpful staff; onsite dining options Neutral: room was spacious, updated and quiet; unfortunately, it’s not the case for all rooms; not the nicest pools or beach, but they weren’t crowded, so they were relaxing…experience might be different when the hotel is at at full occupancy Cons: understaffed, there was a wait for everything; not much onsite entertainment; hotel location is away from the island’s main sights, restaurants and bars, so strongly recommend renting a car or budgeting for expensive taxi fares

Stay was comfortable. Hospitality staff was very friendly and lovely. The only complaint was during check-in. The taxi driver was a no-show and the check-in took 1.5 hours. The staff was however quick to apologize and agreed to cover for our drinks while we waited. Overall, a lovely stay and everyone of the staff is amazing from restaurants, store, 'marketplace', poolside to housekeeping. Beach was beautiful as were the two pools.

The hotel was beautifully decorated. The views were spectacular. There was the convenience of a rental car accessible right in the lobby with easy parking. The staff was attentive and kind. I would absolutely stay here again.

It was beautiful. I will say that the little bar restaurant by the pool area, too many kids or not enough adult presence. I did not know who the supervisor was. I will say, the young folks were pleasant and kind. I understand opportunity and chances, but if there is no direction, they all over the place. I still give 10 stars, just tighten up that area, but still have the chill vibe, music, laughter etc

The Marriott is a nice place to stay if you are looking for quiet relaxation. The staff was very sweet but the services seemed a little pricey. Also, staff gave us our room much later than what was agreed upon. Overall average vacation experience.

Great stay. Issue with the front desk not picking up the phone numerous times during our week stay and sometimes busy signal when you call right after. Room service chips and dip was hilarious not sure why its on the menu for $16. Guac and sour cream in very small plastic containers.

Spent 1 week there with my husband and our 2 kids (2 and 4 years old) and have had our best family vacation ever!! We have traveled to many other carribean islands before but this one was totally at a different level!! All the staff were so nice, extremely polite and helpful!! Special mention to Nicole (pool service) and Olya (gym trainer). We cannot recommend this place enough!!! Loved every single minute of it!

Wish there were more food options, they said they upgraded my room to a garden room and it was across from the dinner which didn't have any privacy. Also, we had to go to the bar for the pool food. Nobody came around unless we went to them. The pricing of the food seemed high.

Amazing location and property. Unfortunately there were loud party private events in front of our beachfront room both nights, powered with a diesel generator of which the exhaust streamed right to our room. After bringing this to the attention of management we were compensated some, but I think this could have been prevented. Food was hit or miss. Great fish and octopus tacos, terrible pizzas. Great sushi and breakfast but terrible nachos. Staff was either amazing and super attentive or disinterested and not very motivated. The reef out front is nice but pretty damaged. Safe lagoon, but don’t venture too far put unless you want to be clipped by a jetski

This place is a mess. They were overbooked and tried to cut corners to ensure they could fill as many rooms as possible. I booked 2 rooms that should have 2 queens each for a party of 6. When we arrived they gave us 2 kings despite seeing the party size. We were told we’d get a roll in bed for each room, that only happened for one. We then had to switch rooms the next night. The resort didn’t have enough sheets or towels. Any time we needed something it took asking for it about 3 times before it finally arrived. We were offered free breakfast in an effort to make up for the nonsense we experienced but at check out it wasn’t removed (had I not double checked I would’ve been charged). I’ve heard so many complaints from others as well it’s a shame. The staff is very friendly and it’s unfortunate that they had to deal w complaints from issues that were not their fault. You’re better off staying at an air bnb. The experience was ridiculous

The property is beautiful. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The staff are friendly, right down to the housekeeping staff. The beach is small, not condusive to long walks. Restaurant space can be limited at dinner, forcing early or late meals.
