"We were not impressed with our stay at Chestnut inn. While it seemed like a good idea to stay in a small private place instead of a big hotel, it turned out to be a disappointment. On the positive side, the living and dining rooms look nice and the host tried to be helpful. On the negative side, tv was not working. Shared kitchen that is mentioned in the ad is not existent. "Overall a nice hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The location is great and right by a wego bus stop. The breakfast was waffles, bagels, toast, mini-donuts, juice and mini-powdered donuts, which was good but limited. Parking is limited by the building, and it is a short walk to the overflow parking. Would stay again for the value. "

"The hotel is a mix of old and new but overall pretty nice! The area where the pool is could be a bit warmer. We loved the pool and hot tubs. My son loved playing the kids play area, there was lots of seating for families! The attached restaurant was delicious, and I strongly advise to spend the extra and get a room with the balcony overlooking the courtyard/pool area!"

"We had a great two night stay. We didn’t venture to the pool so can’t comment on that. The only thing was we requested a cot as we were a teen and two adults traveling it was missed in the reservation. Next time I’ll call ahead to make sure. They were very apologetic and accommodating."
