"The water pressure in the shower was a little low and the refrigerator in my room was a little noisy but I still enjoyed my stay overall. My room was very clean, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. And the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good."

"I stay at the Fairfield several times a year for business travel to this location. This time, I had to request a room change. Upon entering the room, there was a strong odor of stale beer and weed. The odor was very strong and began to make me nauseous after about 30 minutes. The front desk attendant was quite apologetic and offered to give me a new room. The second room was much cleaner. I did notice however crumbs on the carpet and a few items of trash in the hallway that remained...

"Upon arrival we were told that our reservation didn’t start until September 23, 2026 even though we had a confirmation from Expedia. The front desk found a room for us but they also charged us again saying that they didn’t work with “third parties “ (meaning Expedia). We took the temporary room (we had just driven 8 hours) but called Expedia customer service. They said that they would reimburse us for the extra room reservation. They said to save the receipt (which we did and send it to Expedia....

"Very nice and clean."

"all okay"

"Everything was excellent."

"Room was spotless and renovated! Loved the coffee machine in the lobby!"

"I asked the young lady if there was a bathtub in our room. She said of course. We unpacked and there was not! The next day they told me only the queen beds have a bathtub. We had a king bed!"

"The room was very accommodating and the breakfast options were plentiful."

"Complimentary breakfast was as expected. Meaning not very good. Please improve offerings and taste. Coffee tasted very watered down and not strong enough."

"This was my fourth or fifth stay and unfortunately I had a room facing building cooling units and garbage cans. Would definitely ask not to be put there next time but they’re often pretty full for events. This is a great property, near lots of restaurants, easy access to Philly, friendly staff."

"This is a perfectly located hotel in Philly. Walking distance to many "must visit" places such as the "Rocky Steps", "Avenue of the Flags", "Philadelphia Museum of Art", "Boathouse Row" and all the parks and public facilities nearby. Great to visit as we did in the fall. Short Uber rides further into town to all the historical and cultural sites in Philly. We found the Uber system to be robust and easy to get around - even for us "first timers". The hotel is on the "industrial side" - but...

"Unfortunately I would have given them 5 stars until I realized that the bathroom had urine stains on the wall and floor. Otherwise everything was fine. Continental breakfast was delicious, parking was easy and staff were friendly and helpful."
