"The place is cheap for Hawaii and is an airport hotel, but I somehow expected it to be more upscale because of the Wyndham name. It was a little rundown in some ways (e.g., the elevator was dark and had stripped off flooring). It also charged separately for parking, which was expensive (just a few dollars less than parking at a hotel on Waikiki Beach), and it was sometimes difficult to find a spot. We were traveling as a group of four, and I thought my reservation said it included breakfast, but...

"the room was nasty--the furniture was old and scratched--no decorations, everything was chipped and antiquated. Front desk guy was argumentative and rude."

"The room should have been cleaner. There were brown rings around the faucet in the bathroom sink. We had housekeeping come in daily and the floor was never vacuumed. The AC was loud and had a mildew like smell. The staff were all very friendly and the rest of the hotel was great!"

"It was an amazing experience, for staying at the Holiday Inn for the first time in Hawaii, it was a blast. Room was nice and cool, including free great delicious breakfast!! And close to stores and 6 min walk from the Beaches!!! Stag was great and very efficient to getting your room and they also hold my luggage while I waited to check-in time."

"Went on our honeymoon in July 2026, before the 4th. Tucked away from most major traffic, not too far from Ala Moana Mall or the beach. Bus stop for the W-line to airport directly outside was very convenient - skip the car rental and rely on the bus if you can spare the time. "Our biggest complaint was the parking. When we arrived, the hotel parking was full, so we had to park at a different hotel on our first day. The parking fee is also quite expensive at $50 per night. That said, the hotel is in a fantastic location, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Despite the parking inconvenience, we had a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit."
