"I am not sure how this hotel got awarded 3.5 starts. It’s trashy, outdated and housekeeping is non existent. We changed three rooms before we got into a decent one. There is no attention to detail. Everything looks cheap, furniture and floors are scratched. Bedding was the worst. No one slept well during our stay there, simply because the mattress was old and uneven, pillows were bumpy and firm. Oh, and our toilet was making very loud noises so we had to turn the water off for the night. It was...

"Clean room. Host was super nice when we wanted to switch rooms. (Our first room had a much firmer bed than we wanted). They watched our bags after we checked out. Overall super easy and smooth process! Can’t beat the location. "

"Great location with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops around. The walls, windows, and doors do not block out a lot of sound, but that is expected for NYC. You could easily hear the street and other guests, bring earplugs (they supplied some also). The towels were very low quality and each person only gets one per night, so plan for that.
