"Very nice to be off the beaten path Of course, with the holiday weekend coming up ( we were not staying ) it became loud and crowded. Always a good stay otherwise during summer and fall."

"Rented 5 rooms for family. Everything was perfect except that all 5 room floors were dirty. Walking on the floors turned everyone’s (17 people) feet black. Recommend providing each room with a broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand that gets tracked in. Rooms were clean otherwise. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. 4 pillows per bed. All 5 families said they would definitely stay again."

"We had an amazing time at the Blackhawk. I haven’t been in many, many years. The service and cleanliness still remain perfectly the same. The staff goes above and beyond. The other guests have been coming year after year during the 4th of July weekend/week and are very respectful and pleasant. The hot tub in our suite was new or newer and worked very well after full days out and about."

"A great place to stay only down side is the walls are kinda thin so sometimes you could hear a dog barking or people walking above you but i had no issues with it and i wasnt disturbed by any noise like how other reviews say."

"Check-in was slow on a Wednesday early evening… But the woman at the desk was very nice and helpful and apologetic. A couple of things I was surprised about was how old the room was, and I’ve never been in a hotel without a coffee maker before, even a cheap one would’ve been nice. The shower and sink situation was very unconventional and not ideal when splitting the room with my teenage son. The pictures are also deceiving as it looked like they had a game room… Until further inspection once we...

"We stayed during 4th of July weekend we rented 2 rooms one of which the room was leaking from the ceiling the staffs response was this was a frequent occurrence and just gave us rags to clean up the mess. We then were headed to the pool it was about 10:30 at the indoor pool the front desk person came in and said that the indoor pools from 10-12 was for adults only mind you there was no signs of this was simply told it was management we were told that we could use the indoor water park or outdoor...

"Me and my family stayed in the cabin we had a blast. The property was great the cabin was clean no issues. We stayed for the 4th of July and it was the best decision I’ve ever made I definitely recommend to everyone. The owners came and had a party by the lake and they was great. Had a slight grill problem and it was fixed right away. We will be back best decision my family made Delton oak resorts 10/10"
