"So it was the cheapest hotel in and around Glasgow so we booked it. It advertised check in from 1400 onwards, and didnt say there was a time you couldnt check in afterwards with that. We had a day out, train was due back into Glasgow at 2143, got back around 2200, got a train to Hamilton West, walked to hotel, got there around 11, and we saw it was locked with no way in. We then scoured the email that we got, only to see in the wall of text that max check in was 9pm, which in my opinion should...

"Decent stop with plenty of parking. Room was clean however walls were light and you could hear other people."

"Located at the core of Glasgow west end, this guest house offers a cosy atmosphere and classy traditional Scottish well equipped rooms. Breakfast is offering continental and British options, generously served strait from the kitchen, well cooked using high quality ingredients. Staff is always attentive and helpful."

"Excellent… But may be haunted :)"

"Overall superb and phenomenal.highly recommended"

"I loved everything about this beautiful hotel! The decoration, the atmosphere, the food, the vintage vibes and music they play for ambiance. Our family room was exquisite, impeccable, comfortable and cosy. The bed was so soft! The view from our window was gorgeous, overlooking the autumnal view of the atmospheric West End. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable at all times. Thank you so much for a lovely stay in Glasgow!"

"This was a great value bed for the night. We were in Blantyre for a birthday party and this location was a convenient 10 minute walk from the station and 15 minute walk to the party menu. The room is very basic but has TV and coffee/tea available. The room is over a pub but the pub was closed when we returned from our event. For basic needs at a very fair price this is a good choice but would not suit people looking for Premier Inn style comfort."

"Amanda was very welcoming when we arrived and a bonus was the free onsite parking and close proximity to the university. It was just what we needed for the one night stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit dated, and the shower roof is on a slant so I managed to stand upright, just, but any taller and you would struggle. I did appreciate they had left a stool though so you could sit down and not bump your head if you wanted too. Amanda was very kind and apologised when I explained about it....

"The room albeit quite small was very comfy and nicely done out. I found it really hard to sleep though as the green emergency light made the room very light when I am used to sleeping in total darkness"
