"The stay was nice and housekeepers were great. The only complaint is I wish housekeepers would come clean the room daily when you’re staying 4/5 nights."
"I returned back to Douglas, for my sister in law's wedding. New I was going to stay at my favorite place, and as always, never disappointed. I was met with new staff at the front desk. Mr. Charles, who I got to know over the 3 days, I stayed. Was very helpful in every way. It's like the establishment didn't miss a beat, in the customer service department. The breakfast department, as well, had a new staff worker. Mrs Elizabeth, extremely kind and generous, while attending to what ever needs you have, was very impressive. I make this place my #1 spot for a reason. Who's ever reading this, I served 20 years in the Navy, and Foodservice and Lodging, was my specialty. When I write a critique it comes from experience, and what I always strive for with my staff in the military, and that was hightest degree of excellence."
"The whole building was disgusting. The front desk staff was nice. The lobby was full of people that looked strung out. Pool was closed and dirty. The carpet throughout the building was a disaster. The 2 rooms we stayed in were extremely dirty and had trash left over from previous tenants. The rooms were full of mold and the tv in one room didn’t work. There was mold around the air conditioners. Other guests were extremely loud, banging on walls, and running through the halls all night. The exterior doors that are supposed to be locked and require key card access to open are broken allowing anyone to come in and out as they please. The card readers and deadbolts on the room doors don’t work leaving your room easily accessible by anyone and everyone. The free breakfast was a complete joke. It was an absolute disaster and will not be staying again. I will spend the extra money and stay at nicer places."
"We have been staying at Hampton at this location for over 10 years and never have had an issue. Breakfast is good and the staff is always so helpful. Our stay was not bad but the room that we were in had a bad smell. It had like a urine smell. It was only in certain areas of the room but since we were there only to sleep, it was doable."
