"The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

"Great concept. Few areas to improve. Loose handles on drawers. Dust in cups. Water in appliances. Bathroom bin not emptied leaving wonderment what else was missed. Shower would benefit from a more thorough clean with a brush. Shower hose grooves and areas within the shower holding mold. "Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"
