"The biggest issue we had was booking via Hotel.com it’s not clear on the website that the rooms have a shared bathroom, which puts it on par with something like a youth hostel . It’s really not what you expect. All you get from Hotels.com is an email shortly before the stay , but not enough to cancel and rebook , telling you that the rooms are shared toilet/bathroom . After a long drive down it’s too late to change your mind. The place would have been better if the rooms had an en-suite. As it’s shared the bathroom isn’t that clean, there’s towels in the bathroom that you don’t really want to use . It’s reasonably clean but has signs of other users so not really expected and not up to standard of a 3-star my opinion . Staff are friendly and it’s a nice enough pub. The room was nice . A simple refurb to have an en-suite would have worked ."
