"AVOID THIS RESORT! Tambua Sands Beach Resort was an absolute disaster. Appalling service, incompetent staff, zero accountability and a complete waste of money! We booked through Expedia on 20 August for 25 September, reserving a Beachfront Bure with Plunge Pool and Outdoor Shower. Upon arrival, we were told OUR CONFIRMED ROOM HAD BEEN GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE! Staff blamed a software change and told us to sort it out with Expedia ourselves. After two hours on the phone, we rescheduled for 17...

"The property was beautiful, as were the people. I had no issues or complaints about the property or people. The reason for only 3 stars is location. The beach is nearby, but not a beach you can actually enjoy. This property is on the outskirts of the coral coast, and is in a silty bay. There are no amenities, in or around the beach. You will need to travel a few miles down the road."
