"Beach Retreat has an amazing location, one of the best positions at Coolum. Walking distance of eateries, across the road to beach. Lovely pool and spa.
The room itself is tired, chairs and mat worn and grotty, cleaning to be improved in general. On checkout, i was not asked for any feedback, no comment.
I did enjoy my visit."

"Second time staying at this hotel, and it was again an excellent experience. Rooms feel fresh and new still, very clean and have a nice warm feel.
The location is very handy to the beach, nice cafes and Sunshine Plaza. It’s also perfect for people who just need a comfortable place to sleep rather than a full resort-style stay, as the rooms are on the smaller side but very well designed.
Will definitely stay here again and think it’s excellent value."

"The only real issue we had was trying to be talked into a time-share seminar upon arrival. Once we said no we were left alone so it wasn't a huge issue. Our children loved the pool area. The room was a little dated but clean and spacious with excellent views."

"Property was really tired and rough around the edges. Chipped and cracked tiles along with flaking and faded paint, with mold in a few places. There was thick dirt scum on the fridge handle which I managed to clean off myself. But yeah, disgusting.

"We booked for 6 nights. The location was great as it had easy parking and was just across the road from the bus stop which we used to get into Noosa main beach each day so we didn't have to worry about parking the car. The room we booked was the basic level room but it had everything that we needed and was spacious and comfortable. Will stay at Ivory Palms again next time we come to Sunshine Coast, but we will likely book the Superior room for a bit more luxury."
