The apartment is part of the resort but privately owned so reception will not attend to any queries. One of the access cards wouldn’t enable access to pools. "Parking is shocking around Byron Bay, The Shire is greedy and tourists will stop coming when you have a $5 per hour parking policy - so you get a coffee for $3.50 and pay $10 parking!! Ridiculous!! So you have lost me Byron Bay. Problem is, you can’t even park in the street to check in (maybe they should have a private spot) Parking at hotel is excellent once you have checked in, at the hotel car park I feel sorry for any business in Byron Bay as in my opinion, the Shire will close them up...
