Fab location!

The bed was super comfy, the pool was nice and the location was perfect, near many restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were very kind and the breakfast had lots of options!

I booked 3 rooms in this hotel for me and my sisters…we asked all 3 rooms to be on the same level and it’s no problem at all for the hotel…we had nice time and all the staff are very friendly and polite. We had a ‘bit’ of confusion at the end of our stay but Ken, the duty manager on the day had explained the confusion and he handled the minor incident very professionally. Thank you, Ken…you are an asset for Jambuluwuk Hotel Malioboro for your outstanding hospitality! All our rooms are clean and always have all the amenities. Nice location as it’s near Malioboro! Highly recomended for all of you who wants to visit Yogyakarta with your family.

Good hotel for a stay of several days

This is a good hotel to stay for several days to visit the sights in and around Yogyakarta. Rooms are relatively clean and staff was helpful to attend anything that was not ok. Nice swimming pool and good restaurant. Good value for money!

Helpful staff, reasonably good property

This is an old property, reasonably maintained. We enjoyed the stay in the rooms and also the breakfast spread. A special mention is due for front office staff Mr Robert who helped me with packing an oversized souvenir that was difficult to carry otherwise.

The service from start to finish was excellent. The staff is always helpful and very cordial. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, the room was well decorated and comfortable. Good location.

Room was clean and comfortable. The toilet door from the inside needs attention. Requested the first morning housekeeping to refill the body wash in the shower and the bodly lotion refill near the sink. Neither was done which left me a bit disappointed with my stay.

I have stayed in Jambuwuluk Malioboro multiple times and this is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very clean, with professional, helpful and friendly staff. Plus the location is very close to the city centre and amenities. I particularly like the cleanliness of the rooms and the modern quality of the hotel. Definitely am going to come back again the next time I'm in Yogyakarta!

The staff of the hotel is very friendly. They had always a smile on their faces and helped us on everything we needed. The pool is nice but unfortunately with only a few deck chairs. The breakfast was extensive (like a brunch in Germany)

Smelly sheets ruin our stay

Due to a last minute cancellation we found this as it was close, The staff was courteous. However the sheets smelled of smoke. The hot water faucet in the shower was difficult to work. Things that should not be issues.

The hotel has welcoming vibes. Staff (front desk, restaurant, room service) were polite and approachable. I accidentally left my key card and credit card on the restaurant table during breakfast. Kudos to the team at Jambuluwuk for being so attentive, I returned to the hotel at night after a day of activities to find my cards deposited at the front desk. Overall the hotel is great and I would recommend travellers to stay here! If I have to include something to be improved for the hotel, it would be their room features (e.g. furniture, television, table, wash area are slightly dated).
