Hotel has parking at the rear excellent location just a stone throw away from the beach. The staff are very friendly and informative of the area. Breakfast was plenty full. The bed was very comfortable.

This is the third year we have stayed at The Walter Raleigh Hotel. As always the staff were fantastically friendly and the food in the restaurant was superb. The rooms are comfortable with all the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. This will certainly not be our last visit, I can highly recommend it.

All the staff were great, very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. There were several quiet corners to sit in but still feel part of the hotel. The food was excellent with a wide choice. The bar area was very comfortable and the staff exceptional. Access to the car park was simple with plenty of space.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel. It’s a gorgeous setting and our room looked right out over the water, such a view! Staff were lovely and breakfast was spot on. The room was on the smaller side, and the window could do with replacing as the bottom panel spoiled the view a little, plus we noticed some traffic noise in the mornings. But honestly, those are tiny things compared to how much we loved it here. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, bright and comfortable!

We loved our stay at the Walter Raleigh, Jason and staff were very accommodating, especially with an early check in, and complimentary tea and scones while waiting! The rooms were bright and clean with wonderful views of Youghal harbor and bay! Brian greeted us back to the hotel on our second night, where we enjoyed a night cap in the gorgeous bar.

Good place to stay.

Comfortable hotel, with wonderful views of the sea from front facing rooms. Traffic can be noisy though. Staff seemed to be scarce - often no-one on reception, or in bar, but those who were on duty were very willing and helpful. We were a large family group, and they went out of their way to keep us together for breakfast and dining - service was good.

Booked via Expedia for 4 nights half board. On checking out was told half board meant 4 nights bed, breakfast and 2 evening meals so had to pay for extra 2 meals. The double room was tiny really only a single. Otherwise couldn't fault the staff
