"It was AMAZING! My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. And of course the onsens were immaculate. Everything was top tier, would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a classic Japanese experience but with modern comforts and breathtaking views!!"

"The futon’s aren’t very thick so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re a side sleeper. Other than that our stay was great. The owner, Yudai, is incredible and has an excellent sense of hospitality. When I come to Hakone again this place will be at the top of my list. "

"The staff was amazing, I forgot to ask the name of our specific help but we couldn’t stop talking about her the entire trip. She was amazing. Please if anything, give her a mountain of praise from us. She made the entire stay amazing, she was incredibly attentive, extremely cordial and very kind. 11/10 stars just for her and I will be staying here again. "
