"Beautiful brownstone with welcoming staff/owners. My accommodation was in the condo nearby with a beauty bedroom, sitting area and small kitchen. Great location with easy access to the State Capitol and nearby restaurants. Across from the park too, which is lovely. This is a great place to stay in Albany."

"If Hilton wants to maintain it's brand, it either needs to upgrade this property or sell it. Breakfast service was poor. It was 59 degrees in May and they could not turn the heat on in the building. The bathroom shower curtain rod was bent not allowing the curtain to remain closed. My key stopped working mid visit and I had to return to the front desk to have it reprogrammed. "The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast varied with something for everyone. The door keys were unusually, easily demagnetized by proximity to a cellphone, which resulted in lots of trips to the front desk. But every one was patient and friendly about it. The location was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Albany, as well as to some nice walking trails and sights. We enjoyed our stay."

"The pictures are deceiving. The non-smoking room I reserved smelled as though someone had just smoked a cigarette in it. I was moved to another room, but although it appeared somewhat clean, the linens had an unpleasant odor as well. Overall, the property is dirty and poorly maintained — more like a roadside motel than what was advertised. I would not stay here again."
