"What an amazing wee hotel! The room was lovely with its own balcony overlooking the hills (Shiraz room). Good value, great location, breakfast included and of course, delicious wine from the wine bar downstairs! Babette was communicative and welcoming from the start. Highly recommend, I only wish I could have stayed longer! "

"Great location in Altea for the sea front and restaurants. 10 minutes hike up to the old town well worth it. Parking free at the small station nearby. Some great restaurants in the town. The room was fine but needs a 5 foot bed. Bit noisy but not bad as on the main road. The shower ,wifi etc were excellent. Would stay again. "

"This is a lovely place once you find it - it’s a bit off the beaten track. Nice gardens and setting but nobody there. The housekeeper met us as we arrived at midday but she didn’t know which room we were supposed to be in so sent us away and said check in was at 2. Our room was big enough with nice bathroom and separate terrace which opened onto the garden and pool area. Another couple arrived about 8.30 the following night and nobody was there to meet them. "The price was much too high for what you received. The bedrooms were tiny with no touches of "niceness". The breakfast was much too basic, and was a huge disappointment. In the end, it was somewhere to JUST spend the night. Our family was incredibly disappointed. The grounds and general entrance to the hotel were ugly and not at all kept up. "Lovely friendly Hostel. Currently being renovated and new rooms will be modern and bright. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was functional for our visit but basic as we expected.
