"I did a lot of review reading before picking a place to stay in Knoxville. America's Best had some of the better reviews in my price range.
First off, the price is decent. I only stayed a night and was passing through so I don't want to be too critical. The hotel and area felt safe. It was within 15 minutes driving distance of everything I wanted to see in the area.
The room was a place to sleep. The beds were comfortable and clean. The toilet in my room would run about every 10 minutes and...

"The property is dated, but maintained. The bedspread had burn holes in it but we were in a non smoking room. The hallway smelled of marijuana but the room did not.
The shower was good, great water pressure. The bed was comfortable for the one night.
It’s a decent a hotel for an overnight stay."

"The beds were creaky, worn out, and VERY uncomfortable. We had a "suite" with a kitchenette that contained ZERO kitchen supplies - no silverware, glasses, dishes or pots - What's the point? No ice machine and when I asked the clerk she said "you have ice cube trays in your room" which didn't help because they weren't filled but I'm sure the next person who rented the room was happy to have the ice I made and couldn't use. You had to ask for a hairdryer, no breakfast, pay to rent a coffee pot...

"Felt a little unsafe. Property didn’t look well kept. The person who checked me in was wonderful. When I got to my room it smelled bad. The bed and bathroom were clean. I would only stay here again if I had no other choice. The couch in the room was torn & tattered too."
