"This hostel is great. The staff are all super friendly, even the volunteers, and I really couldn't have managed without them, especially Claudia! The rooms were clean as were all the public rooms and areas. It's a great location, close to everywhere, with plenty of shops/mini markets nearby. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is... My room was above the front gate, which does not close quietly. So everytime someone came in or went out, it was a loud bang. "It was inexpensive and it did not matter much since we just had to spend the night before our flight, and it being close to the central station, made it easier to go to. I should also mention the positive that staff allowed us to move to a room, bigger and with a window, from our original booking. But itself, the hotel needs some remodeling, the carpets should be changed since they are beyond any more cleaning. Bathroom can be remodeled too. It is on a big street, so easily accessible by metro...

"I initially booked this property for a few days to be in the wonderful, cosmopolitan, safe Providencia neighborhood. I am an American from NYC and working remotely seeing nature areas of Chile on weekends when I am off (Atacama, Valle del Equi, Valparaiso, etc.). Anita and the staff were beyond friendly and allowed me to store extra bags and packages while I checked out during weekends to go else where and would have my bags back in the room when I returned. The apartment had a nice living...
