"i booked this hotel because of its excellent proximity to Gare Du Nord and Gare L'est, both locations central to our stay. After making the booking i read some reviews which caused me some concern, those concenrs were entirely unfounded and i can only presume those who were negative expected champagne on a beer budget. This is a good honest hotel, it doesnt pretend to be something it isnt, its budget friendly and i can say i have stayed in hotels with more stars than this and had poorer service....

"Nice budget option, the view of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine from the room was a nice surprise! Staff were very helpful. One annoying thing was no bathmat provided in the room."

The room was immaculately clean, the staff very kind (including the resident dogs) and patient with our seventh-grade French, the neighborhood full of character and shops, and we found we were within easy walking distance of the Louvre, Notre Dame and other tourist things we wanted to see. Loved it and would happily stay again. "
