They let us store our bags ahead of check-in and hangout in the common area post check out. The room itself was super clean. Awesome spot, good value and vibes. "Our hosts Elspeth and Drew Vaughan were amazing. Very welcoming and informative. Some of the most pleasant and adorable hosts I’ve ever had. The area and hut were very clean and comfortable. They provided history and information about the area. Just wonderful. If I’m ever able to return to Ireland, I would definitely choose to stay here. "

"We stayed in the shepherd's hut, it was really lovely, private and tranquil. The wood burner is a great addition and ensured we stayed very cosy evrn though it was freezingoutside. The surrounding area is beautiful, lots of walks, a beautiful lake and lots of wildlife. The lodge was comfortable and really well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Hope to return in tje summer."
