"Great stay - entry was easy and without any fuss. The room is large and bed was great, ample power points with USB A and C. We stayed overnight on the way to Loch Ness Marathon - will be back during the daytime to visit the rewinding centre properly, as it looked really interesting. Good parking at the main car park, with EV chargers - a great perk in the not-so-well-served highlands "

"The bed linens and towels were clean, but the floors in the room looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. The room was also very warm. The staff was friendly thoigh and greeted us warmly upon arrival."

"The rooms at the Jacobite House are perfect sized for those travelling light. The room has plenty of storage and very modern facilities. The shared kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, fridge, etc. Great for those travelling on a budget, or who want to meet other guests. The property is very close to the rail station and some excellent pubs! "

"This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but...

"Property was good value, bed very comfortable. Nice warm house. Shared kitchen / livingroom very clean and modern. When I arrived there was mould around base of shower so I put bleach on it and cleaned it, This should have been done by cleaner. The electric shower needs replaced as its intermittent. But at the cost I'd certainly use it again. Fine distance from the town. Oh wifi wasnt really working but that could just be me.."

"We had an amazing stay at Doric House! Heather gave us such a heartwarming and welcoming reception, it truly made us feel at home right away. The room and bathroom were both spacious, cozy, and very comfortable. The breakfast was also fantastic, well thought out, with many great options including fresh fruit, charcuterie, cheese, and croissants. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We loved our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!"

"Though the cabin itself was a bit away from amenities, it was an overall wonderful experience. The owners were lovely and held great communication. The cabin was clean and very cozy. I would absolutely stay there again! "
