"The sushi dinner was one of the best meals we've ever had. All of the staff were so accommodating. We were able to drop off our bags before check in and leave them after check out. We opted to leave our larger luggage in a coin locker at Miyajimaguchi and were very glad we did. As a family of 4 adults and 2 kids, we had full use of the two bedrooms and the bathroom (all upstairs). "This quaint little hostel in the country was our first experience at a hostel. People were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. The room we had chosen was a Japanese style room. We got to the room and at bedtime had to make our beds on the floor (not complaining just stating facts). There was a cafe in the lobby/lounge area. The food was good and pretty inexpensive. The place is also filled with manga, ping pong, game systems and other fun things...

"Staying at Kawaguchi was a wonderful experience. The innkeeper lady was very helpful in explaining everything and pointing us to good restaurants and giving general directions around the town. The room was surprisingly large with additional space for two in the loft. Tea and cookies provided in the room. Kimonos to wear around were a nice touch. We enjoyed the ofuro (onsen bath)."
