"The staff are nice, the facility need lot of improvement, only one towel for two guests, small small cheap soap, no glass to drink, no Tv, they did not change the pillow cover or the sheet, not good for handicapped. Expedia charge $45 but the hotel charges only $30. Do not let pictures fool you, pay $10 to $20 more and get a better hotel. I am a traveller because I work for a major International Airline and I am using hotels all over the world."

"Room was very beautiful. Actual name of hotel is Riad Airport Marrakesh not RAM and the directions say the RAM hotel is next to this one when it is actually the same. We had no hot water for a shower in the morning and no lights in the hallways or stairs so difficult to maneuver suitcases. Also description says there is an airport shuttle but there is not one - they arrange a taxi you pay for."

My host family took me to Lake Takerkoust (its dam powers all of Amizmiz and Marrakech) for a hike. Up here, you can see the entire floodplain and the river tributary that flows into the main lake. Far away on the other side, you can see a motorbike riding across the dirt road as if a speck of dust was slowly floating across space. As we sat and ate our picnic of fruit and veggy sticks, I couldn't help but wonder how much more Morocco is than just its stereotypical perception, a desert.
