"The food was truly amazing. Evening dinner and the organic breakfast was to top restaurant standard. Everything was very thoughtfully done to a very high standard from gorgeous antique furniture, decor to monogrammed towels and really nice toiletries. We loved it but just had one problem which probably was particular to our room on the ground floor. The outside stone wall was very damp. "When I went to check in the gentleman at the desk, said I did not have a reservation. Not only did I have a reservation. I had prepaid for it months ago. I had the reservation number and the payment receipt, but he didn’t care. I had to contact Expedia, who then called the hotel. The guy at the desk didn’t speak English, so Expedia had to call him back with a Spanish speaker. It eventually got all sorted out, but it took half an hour of me waiting around for it to get settled"

"The hotel had plenty of parking for guest and the room accommodations were modern but don’t expect AC, Ventilation is provided by an open window. In mid September it worked out fine but I can’t imagine what it is like during the warmer months. The staff was very helpful."
