"The room was decent. We were not a fan of the beds, they were too hard, but that's just our preference. The hotel it's self is ok. They carpets throughout the whole facility were dirty in the hallways.. The second floor, where our room was, smelled like gas. "A decent place to stay for the price. Convenient to dining options.
The room was clean and well lit. Water pressure was fine. The mattresses were a bit soft for my liking.
There was no hair dryer in the room. 😟 When staff cleans a room there should be a checklist of essentials they sign to indicate the room is ready.
Having ear plugs supplied at the bedside should’ve been an early indicator of a noisy air conditioner.
The staff is trying hard, but renovations are needed."

"This was one of the few rooms left in town for Madison Regatta 2026. Pretty standard for a pet friendly hotel, we were traveling without our dog, definitely in need of a massive remodel. Front desk had a left over Covid glass in place, so communication required asking for repeats at loud volumes coupled with several middle eastern accents it was frustrating to try and communicate. "There was a noticeable odor throughout the facility. Staffing appeared to be minimal, and staff members were not usually present at the front desk, although they could occasionally be found elsewhere in the building.
The property does not have an elevator, so if you require assistance with luggage or have mobility concerns, I would recommend requesting a room on the ground floor.
