"Budget but name, budget by nature. This is a no frills hotel, good if, let me required a night to break a journey.
It is undergoing refurbishment with scaffolding wrapped around.
Rooms are not well sound proofed, and breakfast was of a budget quality, albeit provided a continental selection.
If you want items such a tea/coffee or a hairdryer in the room, look elsewhere. If you just need a bed for the night, this is fine."

"V. Disappointing.
I checked in during the afternoon. But needed to leave as had other plans that day.
On returning to to hotel at around 21:00 in the evening and entering the room for the first time to see properly, my family and I were immediately swarmed by insects in the corridor that were on the walls and room door, so after entering the room at haste to avoid any critters to follow, we were in the room which was very dated and in need of an overhaul.
The bathroom had tiles missing and...

"This is the worst ‘hotel’ I never had! No staffs are onsite. Where is no elevator and the stairs is very narrow and steep. With my suitcases, I almost fell down. The room is small and the furniture is very old. The ceiling light is not bright. The two lamps are not working! No air conditioner. The glass is not clean. The bathroom is small and smells odor terrible mold. The towels are small. Washer and dryer don’t work. The pictures on the web are not seen and fake! I strongly it recommend this...

"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

"Had a fab weekend in a room with a great view. Lovely hotel if you like history and buildings with a story me and my husband do. The food and drink was good and there is a great walk to Salisbury town stepping back in time."
