"If you plan to stay here, be sure to ask if there are any weddings planned for your weekend. The weekend we were there, there were two weddings. Consequently we were unable to eat the restaurant, go to the bar or even have breakfast on Sunday morning. The pool house rooms are basically spruced up Motel rooms that seem to have been built in the 1960's. I can't speak to the other rooms on the property though. It does seem like a beautiful venue for a wedding, but we were just there hoping to enjoy...

"To be honest, I pulled up after a long day of hiking, and it was dark out from what I could see the place looks kind of abandoned.
Lots of things and disrepair.
We walked into a grand lobby, which looks like it was decorated in the 1960s. The gentleman at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer helped us with a big smile gave us the key to our room. He said there was no restaurant on site, but they did have some potato chips and cracker jacks and sodas for purchase.
We went straight up to our...

"The only positive part of my stay was the receptionist, who was very friendly and helpful. The renovations looked okay, but everything else was extremely disappointing.
The hotel advertised complimentary breakfast, which was one of the main reasons I booked, only to discover it wasn’t available due to renovations. The shower was barely lukewarm, and there wasn’t even a shelf to put my shampoo, conditioner, or other shower essentials. The microwave didn’t work, and I had to wait approximately 45...

"Five stars does not even begin to rate this property. We travel quite frequently and have never stayed at a place that was luxury glamping. From the cozy cabin to the suspension bridge, to the culinary excellence, Diane and her staff made our anniversary trip one to remember. They have cultivated luxury meals you can preorder and warm up in the room (they also serve these in the main dining area). I just can’t put into words how much this place recharged me."
