"The hotel was easy to find, being opposite the Railway Station and therefore an easy walk into the city centre. Car parking on site. There was no noise from the road outside and I could see the sea in the distance from my bedroom. Excellent cooked breakfast !"

"Room was sound. Great view across the water. Extractor fan in the bathroom sounded like a chinook was landing but no bother really. Drainage to the shower drain wasn't great but didn't quite overflow. Overall, very pleasant! "

"What an amazing place this is!! Not only is the setting beautiful, the rooms are spotless and spacious but most of all the staff are just fabulous!! We travelled as a family to stay whilst my 11 yr old son completed the National 3 peaks and they were judt amazing with him! They made a fuss and were so wonderfully welcoming!! "Great short stay to access Snowdon. The accomodation was exceptionally clean and very smart. A little bit of work to do in the bedroom to tidy up the damaged walls and skirting board but otherwise faultless and I am being very picky. Great proactive contact and helpful staff with warm welcome. Excellent adoption of technology to make stay more convenient including self serve tuck shop for an early morning. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!"

"This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...
