"The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. I was concerned about arriving in early evening and not knowing how to get in. Turns out there was a lock with a key in it in the front door. Also, not this host’s fault, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through...

"Beautiful place but very simple with no tv or air conditioner but did come with a ceiling fan and 2 floor fans that we were able to use all 3 in one room. Came with a kitchen and coffee pot, stove & fridge but no microwave "

"Clarissa Falls Resort is a mixture of a few beach spots by the river, 9 attached new cabins on a huge farm full of fruit trees with turkeys, roosters, ducks and white geese, alongside a massive grassy campground setup both open and private with hammocks everywhere on the property. The restaurant opens at 7am, overlooks the waterfall and closes when guests wish. The famous milkshakes are super healthy from the cows seen along the rustic road in the meadows. Only a ten minute walk to the main road...

"Wonderful location. Well named. Only a 5 min detour from the highway but secluded and safe. Surrounded by rainforest trees and an abundance of birds. I stayed there for 2 short visits and stayed in 2 different bungalows, one of which has a deck on the back that makes for great birdwatching. Very comfortable. Surprisingly low price. The owners/hosts/chefs were attentive and friendly. "
