"If you are looking to experience how Japanese travel, sleep on tatami rooms and eat a good selection of Japanese food. Then this hotel is a good choice. Your room includes a breakfast and dinner buffetes and most people wear the colorful yukata provided by the hotel. The property is a bit out of date but the public bath is quite nice. Transportation into the city is limited and taxi is about $20 USD"

"They were very helpful even with my limited Japanese"

"China (Cheena) looked after us so well. She did everything, cooking , cleaning, driving us to ski resort. Our train was cancelled and they came to pick us up at Bandai Altima at a cost which was terrific. "We didn’t use the onsen attached to the hotel as the sister hotel was much nicer, we appreciated the cleanliness of our room, had a great experience "

"Nice hotel Clean with public baths"

"Great ski-in-ski-out resort with fantastic hotel and ski staff. Newly renovated with great atmosphere and superb cleanliness."

"A relaxing stay at this beautiful inn. I would strongly recommend this ryokan for others looking for great food and wonderful onsen!"

"Very skilled and helpful staff! All special request handled exceptionally and then some."
