"The hotel is a typical old pub, the staff lovely and welcoming. The stairways and walls are dated, but the rooms are tidy, clean, comfortable and cosy. The full breakfast was beautiful. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again. For your evening meal we went to the Caven Arms on the recommendation of the hotel/pub manager and that was delightful too. "

"This is a historic building that has been maintained and is clean and bright. Room was well appointed, and there is food on site - I ate a very good dinner and breakfast. The staff at the front desk is attentive and helpful. I would stay again!"
