"We were made so welcome from our arrival, until we departed. The rooms were lovely and roomy and perfectly clean. There were meal options, you could eat in the dining room or have something simple in the bar area. The city is only ten minutes away and the gardens and surrounding area are perfectly kept and make you feel like you are in the grounds of a stately home. It was perfect for us."

"Helpfull staff, small twin room with small tv. Shower holder broken got to hold shower head in your hand. Lock on door very flimsy doesn't inspire confidence. Great location. Could be a really good hotel."

"Arrived early (9am) planning to leave our luggage before checking in in the afternoon. We were delighted when we were found a room right away and were even invited to go to breakfast at no charge. Everyone has been so helpful."

"Garbage in the parking lot. The sheets were clean but the bed was stained. No holder for toilet paper. The hotel has definitely seen better times."

"Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming. One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool. Great location for business reasons. I will book again."

"Hotel was ideally placed for access to the city centre. The room was clean and tidy. Shower is great. Sports Bar downstairs was lively, but not intrusive. Food was lovely, however, staff were a bit slow."
