"Wir haben auf der Durchreise eine Nacht hier verbracht und sind völlig begeistert. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut mit einer riesigen Auswahl.
Wir werden auf jedem Fall wieder kommen. Wir und unser Hund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."

"Lovely, well located hotel. Close to all amenities eg rail and bus station, shops, Citta Alta, bars and restaurants.
Staff very helpful and friendy. Good choice of food in restaurant. Beds very comfortable. It was a shame i only stayed a week. I would have liked to stayed longer. I would definately return again."

"Unbeatable views but that's about it. No elevator. Had to lug all of our luggage upstairs ourselves. No help from the staff. Rooms are incredibly outdated and dilapidated. The TV is smaller than my laptop. The shower is the size of a shower on a cruise ship. The restaurant on property is just ok. They try too hard to serve fancy food instead of sticking to a traditional, simple Italian menu. If it wasn't for the incredible view it would have been a total bust."

"The room was minimal and had a nice view! Balcony was clean. Shower was a bit small. Staff was pleasant, and location was perfect for ferry rides exploring other little towns.
The pool was very cold and there was construction going on around pool and hottub was closed. Breakfast was nice but cost us an extra $20 because we didnt include it with the room. Not sure it was worth $20 a person but it was good."

"We stayed at this lovely hotel boutique, my daughter and I , we loved it!! We reserved a room with beautiful views of the lake, everyday we had breakfast on the balcony it was breathtaking... the bed is very confortable, the staff is incredibly nice and welcomming. We took 15 minute walks almost to everything, nightime walks are wonderful, so many stars so so beautiful!! I will be back ❤️"

"We loved so many things about hotel excelsior, the breakfast was good, the staff was outstanding, the stair rugs could have been vacuumed more often but overall the hotel was clean, the reason I gave the overall score as 3 is the bed . The mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows were in need of being replaced as they were all pretty flat, no fluff at all. "
